Euro 2008 Bid

We can... deliver; We can... inspire

After the decision to co-host the European Football Championships in 2008 with Ireland "The second most important decision... was to appoint Navyblue." So said John Henderson, Head of Promotion of Scotland Division at the Scottish Executive.

Creating an identity and communications framework for the Bid as a whole, the project involved two countries, three governments, two football associations and four sports bodies. The identity was rolled out across national advertising and broadcast media and implemented to all sporting communications collateral.

Necessitating outstanding project management skills, Navyblue produced a confident, researched document of 600 pages translated into three languages. Comprehensive control systems ensured that content was referenced, cross referenced, benchmarked, levelled for consistency and tone of voice before finally being proof-read.

Lauded in the press and broadcast media, the joint bid scored highly for its presentation as the most visually impressive of the competing bids.
